1) The Outside of the murder scene is better lit, indicating the danger inside. Walso dressed our male and female detectives very differently. Holly( female detec.) we dressed up in a shot black skirt, shirt and high heels, conformint to the stereotype that women put more effort into their appearence and at the same time apealing to the male gaze.
2)We half light the face of the famale detective to show ,ysters and an uneasy feel of not-knowing whats going on. 3) althought the male character is the focus point in the shot, we show the femal character in the for-ground because she in the one with the highest status
4)we show what is being fouind by the male character from an over-shoulder shot, making us feel like we are in the shot, or a by-stander.
5)the male detective is shown from the femals eye line view because she is the one who prespective we want the audience to see the prodject from.
6) athough the male detective has made a descovery, because he is not the main character we only show half of his face.
7) in the same shot as (4) we used lighing techniques to make the blood on the femal victims chest stand out, this is because we wanted to remind the audience of the current situation as the victims are not actually the main focus of the sequence.
8/9) we show the male detective in scruffier clothes, making the female look more organisted and genrally sharper. we also make a clear point of her going in to the room a few minutes before the male to give her a status of power and bravery which subverts the sterotype of male dominance.
